Dr. Feeney is a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Nurse Midwife. She has practiced  at the University of Pennsylvania,  Moses Taylor Hospital and most recently in the Women's Health Department of Geisinger Medical Center. 

Dr. Feeney teaches obstetrical nursing and nursing research in the undergraduate program and women's health and health policy in the graduate program. She is involved in mentoring students interested in tobacco related research. Dr. Feeney organizes several local service opportunities for students and developed the faculty led study abroad nursing course to Ireland.
